With over 23 years of experience in the nursing field, I knew I wanted to help people get well.When I decided to become a Nurse Practitioner I had already expressed an interest in the field of Diabetes. As I began my practice in an outpatient clinic over 10 years ago, I realized that I was gifted in the field of weight loss and helping people realize what they needed to do to achieve their goals. From then on, I knew I wanted to do something more for people who had the desire to make changes in their life.
I began to explore opportunities. I knew as a Nurse Practitioner I was limited in what I could do to make my services available to everyone. I began researching the field of Health Coaching and I realized that becoming a health coach would allow me to reach more people! I believed I could make a positive impact on more lives and wanted to offer something that anyone could have access to. I reached out to friends and family and described what I wanted to do. With a collective effort of ideas, Choose You LLC was launched in April 2016! |
